The drill team for this year is doing great.This dance team is one of the hardest working groups there is at Potlatch High School. Between the early mornings and performing at home basketball games, they used all the practice they could get. The coach is Jenifer Magallon, she has been here for 2 years, and took the girls to state both years. Where last year the girls placed 3rd in dance division and a 2nd in military division. Potlatch held Districts this year, and placed 1st in Military Division, 1st in Dance Division, 1st in Prop Division, and 2nd in the Kick Division. The Potlatch Dance Team took District Champions for the 11th consecutive year in a row. These girls will be heading to ICDC State, which is held in Boise, Idaho sometime around March 16-18. Hopefully the girls will bring us back another trophy to put in the case. |
