9/27/2020- Message from the Superintendent

Important Message from the Superintendent

This afternoon, administration was made aware that one of our coaches of our Volleyball program has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.

Due to the likelihood that our athletes, managers, and other coaches, have been exposed as well, we will be cancelling all C-Squad,  J.V. and Varsity volleyball games and practices scheduled for this week, until further notice.  All efforts will be made to reschedule these games at a later date.

Also of importance – we are requesting that our C-Squad, J.V. and Varsity Volleyball players currently on the “A” class schedule, remain at home both Monday and Tuesday.  This is a precautionary measure, in order to stop possible spread to our staff and student body, as well as to our own Lady Loggers.

We are currently working closely with the Health Department in this situation.  They will be assisting us by reaching out and communicating to our student athletes, coaches, and parents, and providing information on health plans and steps that need to be taken.

I ask that you work with us and be patient as we cross this “uncharted territory”.  I will provide further information and news as we move forward through the next few days.  Thank you.

Jeff Cirka, Superintendent
