UI and NASA NESSP Robots Exhibits for Grades 3-6 at Potlatch Elementary

Robots at Potlatch Elementary

Students in grades 3-6 at Potlatch Elementary enjoyed an interactive Robot exhibit today, November 2nd! This unique, hands on, experience was brought to Potlatch Elementary by the University of Idaho and the NASA Northwest Earth and Space Science Pipeline (NESSP) program.

The goal of NASA NESSP is to provide experiences that will inspire students to consider exploring STEM careers. The group brought Ozobots and EV3 Robots. Students programmed robots to follow pathways. This fun, interactive experience allowed for students to demonstrate problem solving and teamwork skills through trial and error all while having fun!

We'd like to thank Susan Stauffer, Associate Director STEM Access at University of Idaho, Patrick Paulus, Engineering Student University of Idaho, and Katie Olds, Engineering Student University of Idaho for bringing this wonderful experience to Potlatch Elementary!
